DESCRIPTION
Irvine Park is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the state of Minnesota, and is the first of the Twin Cities. The highly acclaimed architectural historian Larry Millett narrates a vibrant retelling of this neighborhood’s history for this tour, which was researched and produced by Andrew Stec. Larry was a regular contributor to the St. Paul Pioneer Press for nearly twenty years, and now authors a column on lost architecture for the Star Tribune. This tour will guide guests through the heritage preservation district of Irvine Park, as well as other nearby landmarks within the broader West Seventh neighborhood, including the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Mississippi Upper Landing.
